Opening hours
Two clocks matter. We are on site to hand over and take back cars 04:00–20:00 every day, public holidays included, except 24 and 31 December (04:00–12:00) and 25 December and 1 January (closed). We answer around the clock. Everything outside the on-site hours is arranged in advance and confirmed in writing.

We are at our office, Bogatröð 1 in Reykjanesbær, 04:00–20:00 every day, public holidays included, except 24 and 31 December (04:00–12:00) and 25 December and 1 January (closed). Pickups and returns inside these hours need no special arrangement: tell us your flight and we meet you at the terminal.

24/7
Phone and WhatsApp on one number, plus email, answered day and night. The number doubles as the breakdown and accident line, and at night breakdowns and emergencies come first.
Pickups and returns outside the on-site hours
Outside opening hours, pickup and return at Keflavík Airport are available only on request, agreed in advance: €75 per pickup and €75 per return, shuttle included, or €150 each after 12:00 on 24 and 31 December (rental terms 40(b)). The fee is shown before you pay, and your confirmation states the meeting time and place.
Public holidays, Christmas and New Year
On Icelandic public holidays we keep the same hours and fees as on any other day, except at Christmas and New Year. On 24 and 31 December we are open 04:00–12:00, and on 25 December and 1 January we are closed. A pickup or return after 12:00 on 24 or 31 December is possible only on request, agreed in advance, for €150 each, shuttle included (rental terms 40(b)).
Returning outside the on-site hours
The return inspection happens only during the opening hours (04:00–20:00) at our office. A car returned outside them is inspected when the opening hours next begin, at 04:00, and the confirmation receipt follows the inspection. The rental ends, and the risk passes to us, when you hand the car and all its keys to our staff; a car left unattended, or with its keys left in it, stays at your risk until we take it over (rental terms 12 and 13). If you like, record your own walkaround video at the handover and keep it until you have the receipt.
Quick answers
My flight lands at 23:30. Can I still collect the car?
Only on request: outside opening hours, pickup at Keflavík Airport is available only on request, agreed in advance, so ask when you book. If we can do it, the pickup costs €75, shuttle included (€150 after 12:00 on 24 and 31 December; rental terms 40(b)), and your confirmation states exactly where and when we meet. If a late pickup is not possible on your date, we say so before you pay.
Is the phone really answered at night?
Yes. We answer day and night: phone and WhatsApp on one number, +354 779 9499, plus email. Our team is on site 04:00–20:00; at night we prioritize breakdowns and emergencies.
Do the on-site hours change in winter or on public holidays?
Not in winter. Under the rental terms, public holidays have the same hours as any other day, except at Christmas and New Year. On 24 and 31 December we are open 04:00–12:00, and on 25 December and 1 January we are closed. After 12:00 on 24 and 31 December, a pickup or return is possible only on request, agreed in advance, for the holiday out-of-hours fee of €150 each (rental terms 40(b)). Other hours apply only if your rental agreement states them. If the hours ever change, our opening-hours page and your confirmation are updated first.
My flight is delayed. What happens to my pickup?
Tell us as soon as you know, by phone, WhatsApp or email. The car must be collected within two hours of the booked pickup time, or the booking may be treated as a no-show; we will try to hold the car for you, but we cannot promise it (rental terms 10).
