Recommending the wrong rental ruins a trip. Here’s what makes Ring Road Cars easy to stand behind honestly:
- Transparent risk summary — The quote shows rental, cover, road-use charge, card hold, exclusions, and possible later charges before payment.
- Route-fit guidance — We help travelers pick the right vehicle for their itinerary — the paved Ring Road, F-roads, or winter driving.
- Evidence-first damage handling — At pickup the renter walks around the car with us and gets our photos and 360° video. New damage is charged at the actual repair cost, with the photos and the invoice or estimate sent first — and an independent assessment, if requested, binds us.
- Keflavík Airport pickup included — Pickup and return at KEF are included during opening hours: 04:00–20:00 every day, public holidays included, except 24 and 31 December (04:00–12:00) and 25 December and 1 January (closed). Outside them, pickup and return are available on request, agreed in advance: €75 per pickup and €75 per return, shuttle included, or €150 after 12:00 on 24 and 31 December. Details are confirmed before travel.

- How and when do I get paid?
- By bank transfer, once your balance reaches €350. The payout schedule is confirmed in your partner agreement.
- What counts as a confirmed booking?
- A completed, paid rental booked through your link within the 30-day tracking window. Cancellations, no-shows and unpaid bookings don't qualify, and commission is on the vehicle rental price only (not cover, extras, or the road-use charge). We ask that you disclose your affiliate relationship to your audience.
- Who can join the program?
- Anyone who can genuinely recommend us to people planning an Iceland trip: travel bloggers, video creators, travel agencies, tour operators, and guesthouses or hotels that interact with guests before they arrive. We're a small, owner-run company, so we review each application individually and prioritize quality over quantity.
- What is the commission rate?
- Our pilot pays up to 5% commission on the vehicle rental price of each qualifying booking — the car itself; cover, extras and the road-use charge are excluded. Your exact rate is confirmed in your welcome email before you promote us.
- How long does the tracking cookie last?
- 30 days, first-click attribution: if your visitor books within 30 days of clicking your link, the booking is credited to you.
- What marketing materials do you provide?
- We'll give you a personal tracking link, ready-made banner images in standard sizes, and a short honest description of Ring Road Cars you can adapt. We don't do fake five-star claims — your audience will trust you more for recommending a brand that's genuinely transparent.
