Road-use charge
Iceland’s official rental-car daily road fee is ISK 1,390 per started rental day. Your current estimate shows ISK 1,550 per started day: the official fee plus a ISK 160 processing estimate. The final fee is confirmed in your quote.

Card hold, not a cash deposit
Instead of taking a cash deposit, we expect to place a card pre-authorisation — a temporary hold, not a charge — equal to the excess of the cover you choose. Exact card rules are confirmed before booking.
Hold for your selection: ISK 350,000
- Debit-card acceptance is confirmed before booking; the card must be in the lead driver’s name.
- Released after a clean return — typically within a few working days, depending on your card provider.
- Post-rental charges are limited to documented damage, missing fuel, fines or tolls issued during your rental, or extras you used.

Keflavík (KEF) pickup & drop-off
Pickup, return, after-hours options, and the exact meet-up point are confirmed with your quote or booking. We do not offer city delivery to Reykjavík.

- Your driving licence (held ≥1 year).
- The card in the lead driver’s name.
