- How and when do I get paid?
- By bank transfer, once your balance reaches ISK 50,000. We invoice and pay out quarterly, or sooner once you pass that threshold. The exact method and schedule are confirmed in your welcome email.
- What counts as a confirmed booking?
- A completed, paid rental booked through your link within the 30-day tracking window. Cancellations, no-shows and unpaid bookings don't qualify, and commission is on the vehicle rental price only (not insurance, extras, or the road-use charge). We ask that you disclose your affiliate relationship to your audience.
- Who can join the programme?
- Anyone who can genuinely recommend us to people planning an Iceland trip: travel bloggers, video creators, travel agencies, tour operators, and guesthouses or hotels that interact with guests before they arrive. We're a new brand, so we review each application individually and prioritise quality over quantity.
- What is the commission rate?
- Our pilot pays up to 5% commission on the vehicle rental price of each qualifying booking — the car itself; insurance, extras and the road fee are excluded. Your exact rate is confirmed in your welcome email before you promote us.
- How long does the tracking cookie last?
- 30 days, first-click attribution: if your visitor books within 30 days of clicking your link, the booking is credited to you.
- What marketing materials do you provide?
- We'll give you a personal tracking link, ready-made banner images in standard sizes, and a short honest description of Ring Road Cars you can adapt. We don't do fake five-star claims — your audience will trust you more for recommending a brand that's genuinely transparent.
